What's in it for me?A typical R.U.M. sample analysed (units in mg/L):
R.U.M. ...and life in the Fast LanesHead Green keeper Rod Brien (left) shows Choc Irwin one of his renovated greens From nought to high speed bowls surface in 4 weeks. That's the claim of Rod Brien, head green keeper at East Inverell Bowling Club. With a 500-strong membership, and regional competitions coming up in January, the challenge for Road and his staff was to complete the annual major renovation of the club's greens in about half the normal time. No cutting corners, though! The greens were tined, deep-drilled, scarified, top-dressed and fertilised. The secret was 2 litres of R.U.M. in 200L of water, applied to a green, twice in four weeks. "The greens ran at 15 seconds the first ball that was bowled", Rod said. "More importantly, a quick turn-around meant that members could get back on the greens that much sooner. And the committee didn't mind the extra revenue that it brought to the club either!", he smiled. A crack bowls player himself, Rod is a 15 year veteran of the green keepers art.
Is that R.U.M. I hear drip-drip-dripping?A well-known Mudgee market gardener reports improved crops of zucchini (courgettes) and squash since putting R.U.M. Liquid Plant Food through his venturi injection drip irrigation system. Bruce Hurt jokes that he now has trouble finding space to walk between the rows in the market garden! Bruce will be pleased to tell you how he drip-irrigates with R.U.M. on (02) 06372 2731.
Beware of imitations!Customers should make sure that any Beaulieu R.U.M. product bears the distinctive green and gold Beaulieu R.U.M. label. There may be substances that seem similar... but they will not be made by our exclusive process. Tests on some other types of product have shown that N-P-K appears only in trace element quantities!
