R.U.M. answers QA questionsRoss Jolliffe with sons Greg and Keith
At 'Moore Park', Collingullie, west of Wagga, Ross Jolliffe and sons Greg and Keith, farm 2,800 acres of canola, wheat and lupins. Cattle and sheep are also in the mix. Ross has been a Beaulieu R.U.M. user for 3 years but when The R.U.M. Rebellion called on them recently, one of the first topics under discussion was the matter of heavy metals in their crop inputs. Details were required for their QA certificate. QA, or Quality Assurance, is now the name of the game. And it's causing farmers to look more closely at their own farm management practices. The Jolliffe's local grain buyers have embraced the HACCP Plan and so Ross made sure that both Greg and Keith attended the courses. Happily, we were able to furnish the boys with lab reports on R.U.M., not only for heavy metals (virtually none) but also for organophosphates/organochlorines (none) and the bacteria package of 'nasties', including salmonella, listeria, cereus, staph etc. (none). The lab reports are reproduced below. Keep 'em handy. |
