R.U.M.'s away in W.A.

Eric Chandler, Doodlakine, WA, is another farmer who is pleased with the continuing good results he's had from using R.U.M. as a Nitrogen boost.
The first application of last year's dry year started with a seed dressing of R.U.M.
Then, at tillering, he incorporated it with Tigrex when spraying radish.
Eric tank-mixed 250ml of Tigrex with 150ml of MCPA LV and 4L R.U.M. to the hectare.
R.U.M. also acts as a wetter, so it resulted in virtually a 100% weed kill.
Eric and his father Rod were also pleased with the increased yield in the R.U.M.-treated areas, and the quality of the wheat which had good protein and low screenings.

I thought we might keep things 'in the family' by letting you know that Herb and Anne Ware are moving from Warwick, QLD and putting their wonderful property on the market. Years of R.U.M. applications have bought the soil on this property to high productivity whilst ensuring that the legendary black soil of the Darling Downs stays legendary.

Time to blow the family trumpet. Daughter-in-law Kathleen, whose green-thumb has attracted admirers from miles around, has triumphed at the Inverell Show. Again! This time - Grand Champion in the Fruit and Vegetable section. Well done, girl!

Speaking of champions, good to see that Des Chapman, master produce grower of Northern QLD, is still growing strong. Des uses R.U.M. like it's going out of fashion to grow his capsicums at Gumlu, near Ayr. Gumlu, in case you didn't know, is the capsicum-growing capital of the world. Keep up the good work, Des.
